Today is easier than yesterday
I owe an astounding thank you to my life coach. I don’t talk about the coaching I receive much, I don’t know why, I kinda took it for granted that everyone who was on a path to move ahead accessed a coach. You may have noticed that until recently I haven’t really posted much this year, well it’s because I’ve kinda been in a FUNK – and it’s been hard, I mean really hard to shake off. I put my healthy eating on the back burner, well, most things on the back burner and really turned my attention to what a funk I was in.
Renee helped me break through the funk, it took some doing, but if I had to sum it up into one thing … and we all know it’s NEVER one thing, it would be this phrase:
TODAY IS EASIER THAN YESTERDAY.
Sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it. That is the beauty in it. I am not looking forward to “it will be better tomorrow” or “the sun will come up tomorrow” or “its going to get easier” … it is in the moment, declaration of right this very second — TODAY IS EASIER THAN YESTERDAY. And for me, it really is. And I have Renee to thank for it.

Thank you for talking about the fact that you have a coach. Thank you for seeing yourself as worthy of investment! That is really the key to getting the right help I believe!
I too use a coach and am proud of it. When I lost my 220 pounds, I could have not done it without the support of a unbiased professional capable of letting me find my path.
I see so many people who are suffering with all sorts of issues, and yet cannot get to the place of seeing that their lives ARE worth investing in.
As a professional coach, I work with all sorts of people who have finally come to the realization tat they cannot do it alone. I believe we are not supposed to do it alone. We are to figure out how to get the support so we can DO it for ourselves.
I remember getting up at 5am to go to the gym, I knew my trainer was there waiting for me, but he was not there to swing my legs out of bed and get myself moving. I believe it is the right balance of getting support and finding the power within to actually accept that support.
I am soo happy for you as you step fully into your healthy self. It is a blessing to bear witness to!!
