Whoo Hoo…the couple of weeks of practicing have paid off, I’ve reaffirmed some good habits, and even gave myself a cheat day (well, two) before launching into my own personal 90 day challenge.
I am going to follow the traditional clean program for 4 weeks – and then follow up for 2 months on the maintenance package.
This time around I have actually purchased the full clean program with supplements direct from Dr. Jungers site. I wanted to make this as simple as possible on myself without having to piece meal the supplements. And if you read my blog post on the Cost of Eating Clean - the price is probably even a little cheaper to purchase direct.
So Day 1 is off to a great start. I had a breakfast meeting and I brought my own Coconut Water. YEAH ME! When I got back home I made my first shake. I’ll be honest, I’m not loving it, but its not as bad as others I have tried. That doesn’t mean I am not going to do it, it just means I have to learn to tolerate it for the greater results. I didn’t add any coconut nectar (although that is an option), I wanted to taste it with just the powders and almond milk.
LESSON 1: It doesn’t mix well enough for me without the blender. SO for my upcoming road trips* – I think a Magic Bullet may be in order.
